Acropolis Greek Taverna in Riverview

Wonderful experience! Our server Abby was very friendly without being imposing and we got great food very quickly. They are taking COVID safety precautions very seriously too (all staff properly wearing masks, keeping distance and keeping things clean) which made us much more comfortable.

Wonderful service from Sophie and the food was great! You won’t be disappointed in the falafel and fish sliders.

I’ve been dining at this location for the past couple of years and the food never disappoints! My absolute favorite is the Greek pizza and the octopus! You won’t regret it. Aspen’s martinis are the best too, so much creativity.

Went here for lunch with friends after the memorial service of one of our group members. Had wonderful food and enjoyed some dishes from the new lunch menu. I REALLY liked the shrimp and crab sliders😊

Our server was Lexi and she did a fantastic job putting up with all our "girl day" shenanigans! She was so helpful and offered great opinions on the food since I had no idea what I should get. Will visit again for sure!

Orzo mussels are amazing!! The Acropolis salad could feed a family of four! Large portions and you never go away hungry. Vanessa our waitress was great!

Acropolis has great customer service and even better food. I absolutely love their salads, the dressing is key!! I always request more. I wish it were one closer to home but when I'm out that way, I definitely order a salad even if it's to go! Great show too, if you're looking for tasteful entertainment!

The seafood rap was really good. I was shocked with the amazing food and there was great waiters, my waiter was Vanessa she was a good help she was a awesome waiter. I had a wonderful meal I would be happy to come here again.

We had dinner here on a friday night, fairly busy but quick service and the food was great. Our waitress vanessa was very kind and attentive to our table. Highly recommend this over any other restaurant in the winthrop plaza, best menu variety and cool entertainment.

I absolutely love this place its close to home it’s cozy the dishes and drink specials are good and the staff is pleasant, I’m never disappointed. Today I have the please of being served by Sophia, she’s new and we were her very first table. She did an amazing job.

What else can you say about this place? It's fantastic! It has such good food and the vibe is amazing. Winthrop is an overall great place to chill.

My friend and I decided to stop by Acropolis for something to eat. We weren’t very sure what we wanted to eat. So we asked our waitress LEXI for some help. She was every respectful and helped us with what we needed, always with a positive attitude and her beautiful smile. She has been the best waitress I’ve had in over 2 years! Keep up the good work Lexi! We need more people like her in this world.

Sarah was a fantastic server; always polite and attentive. The management staff truly cares about their customers and consistently goes above and beyond to provide the highest level of personalized service. Love this place so much! The food is so great. The environment is fantastic. The owner is such a great person who really makes everyone feel welcomed. The staff is fantastic as well! Speaking of staff, let’s talk about Aspen the bartender! She always has a smile on her face and makes me feel so welcomed! She makes great drinks and always provides fast and speedy service. I always look forward to seeing her face when I come up there. Overall, this place is a staple in Winthrop Plaza and look forward for this place to be here for many years to come!

Great food. AMAZING SERVICE!! My waitress’s name was Lexi.. she was by far, the best waitress i’ve had in awhile!! My family & I are from Louisiana, so to see somebody so upbeat & always has a smile on her face made our experience 110% better!

They did a switcharoo with their chicken souvlaki... Instead in the tasty chicken breast, you now get fatty chicken thigh. I hate dark meat, especially the thigh. When I told the server he said you now have to let them know you want white meat inside of the thigh. It's nowhere on the menu.

I just had the most amazing experience! My first time in a restaurant since things opened back up and I felt really taken care of. Emily, our server, was great! I’ll be back again!

Greek food usually isn’t my first choice but in this case I’m glad I came in! I loved this place! The location was nice,the food tasted fresh and fabulous and the bar drinks were perfect. Service was good and it’s now in the top 3 of my go to places!

The service and the food at this location are outstanding. The food came out quick and it was delicious. This is my favorite Acropolis location out of all of the locations throughout Tampa. My server Brendan was so attentive and so friendly. I wish every server was like him. I will be back soon!

This restaurant was great but the experience was even better thanks to our server Lexi! I dont usually write reviews but i had to write one because of her. She was quick, attentive, patient and super friendly. You just do not get this quality of service anymore but we are so blessed to have had Lexi! We usually go to restaurants Sunday afternoons. This was the first time I was at Acropolis with my family. We showed up at 12:30 and it was still quiet, by the time we left most of the tables were taken.I interrogated everyone in my family about whether or not they liked their meal because I generally get blamed if they don't like it.Everyone said they liked their meal, and the proof was their empty plates. If you want to try Acropolis when it is quiet, Sunday for lunch seems good for this.

Outstanding! A+! My fiancee and I had lunch here today. We both had the Chicken Olympia and it was absolutely delicious. Our server was Lexi and she epitomizes was a server should be, professional, polite and extremely knowledgeable of the food items.We will be weekly customers at this Acropolis. Great job Acropolis!

When you go, get the 2 for 1 sangria and ask for Vanessa! Superb drinks and even better service. Vanessa is a sweetheart and she will take very good of you. Food was perfect and everyone took necessary precautions for covid.

I’ve been to acropolis several times but their time it was the best... I had a horrid day at work and came into acropolis to get a drinking and was greeted with the best bartender there, Aspen. She was so attentive and definitely made my day better. Definitely coming back!
